"OO" gauge

We now have an OO gauge track for use by all our members, young and old. It is inside and so can be used in bad weather. Work is proceeding on the extension of this layout.

Picture 1 shows the layout in the raised position, where it is well out of the way to make space for other activities. This is demonstrated by the Club member sitting at the table in the bottom right of the picture.

Photograph 2 shows the layout partially down. The cables from the electric winch which raise and lower the layout are just visible leading upward from the front of the layout.

Photograph 4 gives a closer view of part of the track and rolling stock.

Many more improvements are planned.
