We are open for Public Train rides on Sunday afternoons during British Summer Time from around 14:30 to 17:00, weather and conditions permitting,
In 2008 we start Public Train rides on Sunday the 30th of March 2008, with rides every Sunday thereafter (conditions permitting) until Sunday the 19th of October 2008.
There is a charge of 50p for riding on the Trains, this amount is the same for adults and children. Very small children must be accompanied.
Don't forget to look out for our special days, we have Halloween and Christmas Public days. Heath and Safety, it is essential at all times. We would ask you to supervise your children at all times whilst at the railway, please do not allow them to cross the tracks or to get too close to the Locomotives, they are very hot and can burn! Club members will be happy to explain safely how the Locomotives work etc.
When riding on the Trains it is very important to keep your feet on the train and not let them drag on the ground, we wouldn't want anyone to get hurt. Also most of our bushes are spiky, so do not try and grab them as you go around as this can be very painful. Please keep dogs away from moving trains, you never know if they will run into the path of the train.
